Spring in Action

I find it amazing how quickly Mother Nature snaps out of her bleak winter cover. In just a matter two weeks the small green shoots in the backyard bloomed into beautiful daffodils. Thanks to Sara for throwing down the challenge to capture this sign of warm things to come.

While I was laying in our flower bed, also picked up these...

Spring is palpable with the help of your photos. I love it Steph!

Gorgeous, Steph! Nothing screams SPRING like daffodils. Your single daffodil picture with the white background is amazing. Was that a photoshop trick or something else?

Thanks for playing along. I'm hoping to post mine tonight!

Thanks, ladies! Just bumped up the contrast in photoshop for picture of the daff with the white background. For the picture, I snipped the flower and then held it in front of the sun, and it ended up turning out pretty cool. (And I didn't go blind in the process.)

Not going blind is a good thing! Great pics. I'm hoping we'll see signs of spring here in Boston soon. I miss spring in the Midwest...
